Lattice Assumption Zoo Goes Live!

The gates are open: The Lattice Assumption Zoo (LAZ) is officially live and ready for visitors! Here’s a quick look at the current state of the LAZ and how to stay up-to-date as it grows.

Current State

While the LAZ is now publicly available and large enough to be a useful lookup resource, it is far from complete. We are working on extending the Zoo and the progress can be tracked on our missing assumptions list.

As the core infrastructure and overall concept are now stable, we officially invite contributions from the community. You can find a quick guide on adding an assumption or documenting a cryptanalytic break here.

We invite everyone to subscribe to our RSS feed to stay informed about novel lattice assumptions and cryptanalytic breaks. We know how annoying a cluttered feed can be, so we keep the noise to a minimum by only updating the feed for major events such as …

• the release of a novel assumption (we won’t announce adding ‘old’/known assumptions to the Zoo), or
• the announcement of a major cryptanalytic break of an assumption.
